§1Nature of the content

Everything on this site is general educational material about how long-range betting markets are constructed. It is not betting advice, financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice or regulatory advice, and it is not a recommendation to place a bet, to open an account, to use any particular market or to adopt any approach to staking.

The site is intended for adults. Betting is a regulated activity in many jurisdictions and is restricted or prohibited in some. It is the reader's responsibility to know and follow the law where they are, and to use only operators that are lawfully permitted to serve them.

§2Affiliate disclosure

The site contains affiliate links to a partner operator. Those links are marked as sponsored, carry rel="sponsored noopener", and pay this site a commission if a reader opens an account through them. The commission is paid by the operator and costs the reader nothing.

The disclosure is repeated on every page rather than kept here, and the affiliate relationship has no influence on what the site publishes. No operator has reviewed, approved or contributed to any page, and no page is sponsored content.

§3Risk warning

Betting is gambling and it carries a real risk of loss. That includes the loss of money needed for other things, and the harm that follows from it: debt, damage to relationships, and damage to mental health. Long-range betting has a risk profile of its own, and it is worth stating it in one place.

There is no strategy on this site, and nothing on it is a route to profit. A long-range price contains a wider built-in margin than a match price. A competitor who does not take part can change what a bet pays or whether it stands at all. The price you accept can move against you for a whole season without ever returning. The money you stake is unavailable for the entire horizon, and the exit from such a position is a second trade at a price chosen by the party holding the other side. A set of correctly chosen long-range bets can lose for reasons that have nothing to do with how carefully they were chosen.

Never stake money you cannot afford to lose, never borrow money to bet, and never increase a stake to recover one that has been lost.

§4The rules belong to the operator, not to this site

Every market described on this site is settled under the rules of the operator on whose book it was placed. Those rules govern the settlement question, the treatment of competitors who do not take part, the handling of abandoned or rescheduled events, void bets, dead heats and cash-out. They differ between operators, they change without notice, and they are the only authoritative source for what a bet pays.

Nothing on this site should be read as a statement about the rules of any operator, and no operator's conduct, licensing, solvency, pricing or compliance is described or implied anywhere in it.

§5Support and limits

Free and confidential support for gambling harm exists in most countries. National helplines are published by gambling regulators and by licensed operators, and they are for the person gambling and for the people around them. Using one does not require admitting anything to anybody else.

On a licensed account, deposit, loss and time limits, a reality check, a time-out and self-exclusion are normally available. Self-exclusion is the strongest of these because it cannot be undone in the moment when it would matter most, and it typically applies across several operators at once. None of these tools is less relevant because the bet in question settles in nine months rather than in ninety minutes.

§6Accuracy, rights and contact

The site is static HTML with no analytics, no cookies and no scripts other than the structured data in each page head. It collects nothing about its readers and has no accounts, no comments and no forms.

Figures on the site are of two kinds, and are labelled where they appear. Arithmetic — such as the conversion of a price into an implied percentage — is exact and checkable. Diagrams and tables that illustrate a mechanism are explicitly illustrative, describe no real operator, market or event, and are not measurements. Where a real figure would be needed to support a claim, the claim is made qualitatively instead, and the absence of a figure is deliberate rather than an oversight.
